The doors to Jake Gaither will close forever for intercollegiate competition this basketball season.
The Rattler Boosters are sponsoring the "Farewell Weekend to Gaither Gym" on February 20 - 23, 2009. The men and women that represent FAMU play the University of Maryland at Eastern Shores on Saturday, February 21st and the FINAL HOME game is against, Delaware State on Monday, February 23rd.
All former Rattlerettes, Rattlers, and Lady Rattlers are invited back for this weekend. This will be largest gathering of former basketball players, ever! We want ALL former players, managers, trainers, coaches, assistant coaches and friends to come back for the closing of Jake Gaither gym!! Help us get EVERYBODY back!!!

Rattlertized Businesses!!!
"Rattler-tized" is a term we used when I was assisting Coach Hayes in Marketing and Promoting Athletics. We used that term for those businesses and corporations that partnered with the Rattler Boosters and/or the Athletic Department. We are going to give you constant updates on those companies that "get on the bus" with us. I keep going back and forth if I am going to share with you those entities that decided not to get involved with the us or not. We never want to do anything to paint a picture of negativity but we also want to let our supporters know. We tend to want to stay on the positive side of things and I think we will just continue in that vein.
