2010 DISABLED PARKING PROGRAM
NOTICE TO FAMU FOOTBALL FANS

In our never-ending quest to improve our services to our fans and supporters, the Rattler Boosters are working in conjunction with FAMU’s Office of Equal Opportunity (EOP) to better serve our constituents. You can secure a 2010 Disabled Parking Application from the Rattler Booster Office to assist you with your parking requests.

These requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis, due to limited spaces around the stadium.

To continue quality service and to expedite your request, please complete the enclosed application by Friday August 13. FAMU continues to make every effort to respond to concerns and to meet the disabled parking requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and Florida Statue 553.5041, “Building Construction and Accessibility Standards.”

Individuals who receive a parking location as a part of their Rattler Booster membership must choose either their Rattler Booster parking spot OR disabled parking location, but not both.

Those individuals that are selected for Disabled Parking will receive information that includes location of handicapped parking, a placard for game-day parking and directions.

The placards are non-transferable and property of Florida A&M University.

General parking fee is $10.00 for game day parking on campus. This fee needs to be paid once you are approved for parking by Friday September 10, 2010 to the Rattler Booster Office. We will mail out packets or notify you of your ‘waiting list’ status after September 10, 2010. If you have any questions or concerns contact Bill Adams.

In the event that you come to the stadium on “Game Day” and have not secured handicapped parking in advance, you may still be able to secure parking at the stadium IF IT IS AVAILABLE at the Information and Welcome Center at the corner of Wahnish Way and Gamble Street between from 2 pm 10 am until game time. If there are no available spots at Bragg Stadium there are 40 a limited number of general admission parking spots available at the MS Thomas Building  Gibbs Hall
those spots can be purchased at the Information and Welcome Center, as well.

NOTE: At the current time (October 13th) there are still spots available at Bragg Stadium for each of the home games. Please note this is subject to change and is strictly based on availability

Thank You for your support of the FAMU Rattlers. Please return your completed form and required attachments to:
